I believe that Attorneys play a special role in our society. All the great social progress that we have made as a nation -from Social Inequality to Civil Rights have been fought and won by Lawyers in our court system.
The law is more than a job to me, I became a lawyer to give back to my community and champion the causes of social justice I believe in.
As a Bay Area lawyer, I continue to fight on behalf of Tenants against the rapidly increasing rental market and wave of evictions as a Counselor at the San Francisco Tenants Union. I am also a Panel Attorney for the AIDS Legal Referral Panel - the first pro bono and low cost legal assistance organization for people living with HIV and AIDS.
Moreover, it has been my pleasure to serve alongside the great attorneys at the Justice and Diversity Center of the SF Bar Association to provide a voice in our legal system for the low income community of the Bay Area.
It has been an honor and pleasure to serve this great community I call home. If you or someone you know cannot afford legal services because of their income prohibits legal representation, please do no hesitate to contact me. We can either figure out a sliding scale system or I can assist them in finding legal representation at a reduced rate that they desperately need.
